Staying properly hydrated is a simple and easy way to ensure that we are more conscious of our health. It is also a simple way to keep stress and anxiety in check. Encourage your teen to start drinking more water, and tell them that their excuse of being too busy does not cut it. They just need to carry a reusable water bottle around with them so that they can stay hydrated all day long, whether they are in school, at their after school activities, working, or studying. Balance is always critical to a health lifestyle, no matter at what age. Listen To Your Body
Above all else, let them know that they should listen carefully to what their body needs to feel its best. Staying in shape can often feel impossible, but when they start listening to their body, it becomes a whole lot easier. Whether their body is crying out for rest or needs nourishment from a better diet, or even an influx of calories, by following what their body needs, they will be able to build healthy habits that they can carry with them forever.
